In celebration of the light of the Summer Solstice sun and all the animals!
Express an Interest in Events Like This One[formidable id=18]
Who is it for?
This is a family event for people of all ages who love this planet (especially those who love lighting candles and the young at heart.)
Aunties, uncles, godmothers & godfathers, grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers and fathers: please feel free to bring a child with you to share in the magic of our summer solstice celebration.
What will we be doing?
We’ll gather at 4pm and have a go at making some gorgeous prayer flags to decorate and bless the space ready for our ceremony.
Then we’ll move on to a simple candle-lighting ceremony that is lots of fun for young and old. This often involves being willing to make some sound, move our bodies, say some words, and generally get into the spirit of celebrating all the different kinds of animals with whom we share our world.
What to bring?
I have a collection of little figurines of animals, birds, fish, frogs and insects which we’ll use to create a centerpiece for our ceremony. Do you also have a picture or figurine of a favorite creature? Preferably something you can comfortably hold in your hand? You are warmly invited to bring it to place on our celebration table..
You are invited to bring along a small plate of afternoon tea to share. I’ll provide teas, water, some materials for prayer flag making, and one candle per family for the candle lighting ceremony.
What does it cost?
$10 per person, children under 12 come free of charge.[nicepaypal type=”buy” name=”Admit One Adult – Family Solstice Celebration 21 Dec 4-6pm” sku=”21DecFamilySolstice” amount=”10″ quantity=”1″ option1=”field;ContactName;Name;25″ option2=”field;ContactPhone;Phone;12″ option4=”drop;list;Keep me informed about – ;News, offers, events; Events only; Just this event” return_url=”http://radiantwomanperth.com.au/solsticedancethanks” cancel_url=”http://radiantwomanperth.com.au/paypalcancel”]
